University sports courses at the TU Ilmenau
In WS 2022/23 we have expanded our cooperation with the University Sports Center of the TU Ilmenau. This offers you the opportunity to raise your team training to a new level. You can find all details and new features here. If you have any questions, just contact us.
Registration for varsity sports classes is now open.
The introductory events will take place at the following times in room EAZ 0324: CS2: Thu, Oct. 12, 8:00 pm; Valorant: Wed, Oct. 11, 7:00 pm; Rocket League: Thu, Oct. 12, 7:45 pm; Rainbow Six: Siege: Mon, Oct. 09, 7:00 pm; Overwatch 2: Wed, Oct. 11, 7:45 pm; LoL: Thu, Oct. 12, 7:00 pm. Since attendance at the introductory event is mandatory, please let us know in good time if you are unable to attend.
Teams without Unisport course participation
- Introductory meeting at the beginning of the semester for each game. At this one, existing teams are replenished or new teams are formed.

For the first time, the introductions will take place in presence in room EAZ 0324.
The introductions are obligatory for the participation in the semester-long university sports course. If you are unable to attend the introductions, please let us know in good time so that we can take you into consideration for team placement.
- Brief explanation and introduction to the Uniliga, the process and registration procedures.
- Teams get their own area on our Discord server for easy communication and contact in case of questions or problems.
- Participation in the semester-long varsity course, varsity league, or one or more other leagues and tournaments is voluntary. Likewise, each team decides independently on its training schedule and scope.
This semester, registration will take place via the University Sports registration system (registration for participation in the introductory event). All those interested can announce their participation in advance via the old familiar registration system and have us remind them to register at the University Sports Center as soon as it is available. In this way, we can plan reasonable teams in advance and the introductory events can proceed without incident.

6x gaming PC setup: i7 9700k, GTX 1080, 32gb RAM, SSD with one FullHD monitor each: 144Hz, 1ms GTG; one beamer for replay analysis; whiteboard
- free use of the training room, if no other team is training at the moment, for your own individual training
- at least 1 coach per game
- Eligibility to participate in the compensatory sports program. This is offered every few weeks during the semester and consists on the one hand of stretching, relaxation and balancing exercises for hands, back and neck and on the other hand of playful movements, such as dodgeball, volleyball or soccer.
- Insurance coverage via the University Sports Center of the TU Ilmenau
- Entitlement to apply for a free club membership in Ilmenau eSport e.V. for the duration of the university sports course participation.
The cost of the semester-long university sports course is 20€ per semester, in exchange for which participants receive the benefits listed above. Registration for the semester-long university sports course takes place directly after the introductory event and team-wise.
